Grand slam winners Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Roddick and Lleyton Hewitt have also confirmed they will appear at the west London courts in June.
David Nalbandian will make his first appearance at the Wimbledon warm-up. The Argentine revealed extra preparation for the major is a main incentive to participating.
He told the BBC: "I like playing on grass, I played my first grand slam final on grass in 2002 and I will be in London for one month this time so I think I will be more prepared for Wimbledon than ever before."
The tournament will be played under a different name from 2009, after it was announced Stella Artios will end their association with the competition, leaving the Lawn Tennis Association searching for a new sponsor.
