Andy Murray believes he can cause an upset by disposing of number two seed Rafael Nadal in the Wimbledon quarter-finals tomorrow (Wednesday, July 2nd).

The Scot came through a thrilling five-setter with gifted Frenchman Richard Gasquet yesterday (Monday, June 30th) evening, winning 5-7 3-6 7-6 6-2 6-3 to set up the eagerly-anticipated contest.

Although Murray's record against four-time French Open champion Nadal reads 'played three lost three', SW19's new favourite son is confident he can match the Clay King on grass.

He told the Scotsman: "I need to make sure I recover properly (from the Gasquet match) but it's a match I feel that I can win, if I play well.

"I'm [a] fitter player and better player than I was in the past when I played him. There is no reason why I can't win it."

Nadal took nearly four hours to see off Murray at the 2007 Australian Open, winning 6-7 6-4 4-6 6-3 6-1, in a match Murray regards as the best display of his career.
