Andy Murray will face a seasoned competitor in the first round of Wimbledon after being drawn against Frenchman Fabrice Santoro.

Murray is in the same half of the draw as the in-form Rafael Nadal, who would meet Murray in the last eight should the Scot progress that far.

A potential opponent in the second round for Murray will be the Belgian qualifier Xavier Malisse and Murray could then play 23rd seed Tommy Robredo if he made the third round.

In the other side of the draw, champion and world number one Roger Federer is looking at a path to the final loaded with no less than five former grandslam holders.

Leyton Hewitt, Marat Safin, Thomas Johansson and Juan Carlos Ferrero stand in the Swiss' way to a 13th grandslam.

Federer comes up against Slovakian Dominik Hrbaty, Nadal faces German qualifier Andreas Beck and Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic – the number three seed - will play Germany's Michael Berrer.
