Kim Clijsters was born in Bilzen, Begium on June 8th, 1983. Her parents were both professional athletes, and gifted their daughter with a powerful, athletic form. She excelled at tennis from an early age, and by the age of 15 had reached the final of the Wimbledon Junior Championship.
